How much do RTA kitchen cabinets cost?

At RTA Cabinets Plus a typical 10 x 10 kitchen (13 cabinets) runs about $2,480 in our Sterling Snow finish before freight and tax, which works out to about $124 per linear foot of cabinets. Every cabinet's price is printed on its own product page, with no login and no quote to request. Three choices move the price: ready to assemble or assembled, the door style, and the finish. That price buys a semi-custom build, plywood with real paint and stain finishes, never paper, thermofoil or melamine, priced below comparable cabinets with the same build. What moves the price

Three choices set the number.

Two cabinets of the same width and height can carry different prices. These are the reasons, and each one is a choice you make on the product page.

Ready to assemble or assembled
The same cabinet costs less flat packed, because you are not paying to ship air or to have the box built first. Assembled is the convenience, priced as one.
The door style
Door styles are not all built the same way, and the price follows the door, not the box behind it.
The finish
Painted finishes, wood tones and the darker colors are not equivalent work. The price on the product page updates with the finish before anything goes in the cart.
How pricing works
What the number covers

What is in a cabinet price, and what is not.

  • In it: the cabinet, with a plywood box, a solid wood face frame, 3/4" plywood shelves, full overlay doors, concealed soft-close hinges, and a 5/8" solid wood dovetail drawer box on soft-close, full-extension glides.
  • Not in it: freight, which is calculated at checkout from the delivery address, and the things no cabinet price includes anywhere: countertops, sinks, appliances and installation.
  • Why it costs less than the build suggests: the box ships flat, more than 25,000 kitchens are already in stock, and there is no showroom to pay for. You click the box together yourself, and on our licensed system that takes minutes, not a weekend.
Ways to pay less

Four honest ways to bring the number down.

  • Get a free design. Send your measurements and a designer comes back with a layout, a cabinet list and a price, with no obligation to buy. You see the whole number before you commit to any of it.
  • Buy ready to assemble. It costs less than assembled, and our boxes click together in under 2 minutes each.
  • Apply for Trade Pro if you buy for work. Trade Pros get 10% off to start. 15% when your purchases in any 30-day period reach $25,000, 20% at $50,000. Upgrades apply the next day and last at least 60 days. Apply with an EIN letter, W-9, business license or resale certificate for fast approval.
  • Order a sample before the kitchen. A full sample door is $19.99 and a quarter door sample is $4.99, shipping included on both, and the sample price is credited toward your cabinet order. It is the cheapest way to avoid reordering a whole kitchen in a different finish.
