About this piece
- Genuine white oak, stained
- Matches the cabinets
An overlay filler in Coastal, 2 1/2 by 85 1/2 inches. A finished strip that covers a gap on the face of the run, so the cabinets either side read as one continuous front.
Size. 2 1/2 inches wide, nominal 90 inches tall (actual height 85 1/2 inches).
In the carton. 1 filler.
Finish. Coastal, a real stain in a greige tone on genuine white oak, with the wood grain showing through. The same finish as the Coastal cabinets, so it matches them in every door style that comes in Coastal. Real paint and stain only, never paper, thermofoil or melamine. Wood grain is never uniform, so expect it to vary from panel to panel.
Fitting it. Fillers are cut on site, against the run you actually built, never against the drawing. Scribe it to the wall rather than trusting the corner to be square, and measure the gap at both ends, because almost none of them are parallel.
Where it goes. On the face of a run, wherever a gap needs closing. Order it in the same finish as the cabinets it sits against.

Questions about trim and panels
Does this piece match the cabinets?
Yes. Trim, fillers and panels come in the same finishes as the cabinets, so order the piece in the finish of the run it goes on.
Is trim cut to size?
On site. Fillers are ripped to width, panels and fillers are scribed to the wall, and molding is cut to length and mitered at the corners. Cut each piece against the run you actually built, never against the drawing.
How many fillers and panels do I need?
Plan a filler, usually 1 1/2 to 3 inches, wherever a cabinet meets a wall or an inside corner, and a finished panel on every cabinet side you can see. A free design lists every filler, panel and toe kick for you.
Does crown molding need anything else?
Yes. Each crown piece needs one crown molding extension (CME) in the same finish: five crown pieces take five CMEs. The crown product page and the cart add the matching CMEs in one click.
What tools do I need to fit trim?
A fine tooth saw or a miter saw, a brad nailer or finish nails, construction adhesive for toe kick, and a tape measure. Fit trim last, after the cabinets are level and fixed.
