- Matches the cabinets
A decorative base panel in Studio Coastal. A finished panel for the exposed side of a base cabinet, so the end of the lower run or the back of an island looks finished.
Size. 23 1/2 by 29 1/2 inches.
In the carton. 1 panel.
Finish. Coastal, a real stain in a greige tone on genuine white oak, with the wood grain showing through. It follows the Studio door style, to match the Studio Coastal cabinets. Real paint and stain only, never paper, thermofoil or melamine. Wood grain is never uniform, so expect it to vary from panel to panel.
Where it goes. On the open side of a base cabinet at the end of a run or on an island. Order it in the same finish as the cabinets it covers.

Questions about trim and panels
Does this piece match the cabinets?
Yes. Trim, fillers and panels come in the same finishes as the cabinets, so order the piece in the finish of the run it goes on.
Is trim cut to size?
On site. Fillers are ripped to width, panels and fillers are scribed to the wall, and molding is cut to length and mitered at the corners. Cut each piece against the run you actually built, never against the drawing.
How many fillers and panels do I need?
Plan a filler, usually 1 1/2 to 3 inches, wherever a cabinet meets a wall or an inside corner, and a finished panel on every cabinet side you can see. A free design lists every filler, panel and toe kick for you.
Does crown molding need anything else?
Yes. Each crown piece needs one crown molding extension (CME) in the same finish: five crown pieces take five CMEs. The crown product page and the cart add the matching CMEs in one click.
What tools do I need to fit trim?
A fine tooth saw or a miter saw, a brad nailer or finish nails, construction adhesive for toe kick, and a tape measure. Fit trim last, after the cabinets are level and fixed.
