About this cabinet

  • Frameless, full access box
  • Genuine white oak, stained
  • 100% tool-free box assembly
  • Flat packed

A 36 inch floating vanity sink base with two drawers. The FVSB2DRW36 hangs on the wall and leaves the floor open below, with drawers under the bowl in place of doors.

Size. 36 inches wide, 21 inches high and 21 inches deep.

In the carton. 2 drawers, with the box shipped flat.

Construction. A frameless, full access box made to hang on the wall: there is no face frame, so the opening runs the full width of the box. The Mantel door is a shaker vanity door.

Finish. Coastal, a real stain in a greige tone on genuine white oak, with the wood grain showing through. Real paint and stain only, never paper, thermofoil or melamine. Wood grain is never uniform, so expect it to vary from panel to panel.

Assembly. The box goes together on a licensed click-together system: 100% tool-free box assembly, no cam locks. Anything wood-to-wood clicks together, no tools, no glue, no screws. The only parts that need screws are the metal ones: hinges, drawer glides and pulls. Mounting it to the wall takes a drill.

Where it goes. A bathroom where the floor stays open under the vanity. It hangs on the wall, so you choose the mounting height. The countertop, sink and faucet are not included. Order it in Mantel Coastal with the rest of the run so the door style and finish match.

Questions about vanities

What size is a bathroom vanity?

Vanity base cabinets are 34 1/2 inches tall and 21 inches deep, in widths from 12 to 60 inches. Veranda floating vanity cabinets are 12 to 36 inches wide and hang on the wall, and Portico furniture vanities run 30 to 60 inches wide. This vanity's exact size is in its specification on this page.

Can my vanity match my kitchen cabinets?

Yes. Sterling and Studio vanity base cabinets come in the same doors and finishes as the kitchen cabinets, so a bath ordered with the kitchen matches it.

How do I measure for a vanity?

Measure the wall, then the center of the drain and of each water line from the same corner, and the height of each off the floor. A vanity is cut around the plumbing, so mark the positions onto the back of the box before you drill, and dry fit it against the rough-in first.

How does a vanity go together?

The same way as our kitchen cabinets. A box clicks together on the licensed SnapCore system in under 2 minutes, about 10x faster than traditional RTA cabinets built with cam locks, dowels and glue. Anything wood-to-wood clicks together, with no tools, no glue and no screws. Only the metal parts need screws: hinges, drawer glides and pulls.

Can I order a sample door?

Yes, for Sterling and Studio. A full sample door is $19.99 and a quarter door sample is $4.99, shipping included on both, and the sample price is credited toward your cabinet order.
